Playing Career:

Born and raised in Livermore, California, Coach Canfield started his football career at the age of 10 playing for the Livermore Youth Football League.  Coach Canfield excelled as a Quarterback and naturally went on to play that position for his hometown high school, Livermore High Cowboys.  He then went on  to play football at Los Medanos JC in Pittsburg, CA. During his 2 years at LMJC Canfield earned the role of the starting quarterback and was awarded unanimous First team all League awards. His team won a State JC Bowl game and Canfield was awarded the MVP of the game.
